A driver was trapped in his car after it careered into a ditch near Dundee.
The man, understood to be in his 80s, was initially trapped in his vehicle and was helped to safety by Tayside Fire and Rescue Service.
He was understood to have suffered minor injuries and was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
Emergency Services were called to the accident which happened at around 7.30am on Wednesday on the A923 Dundee to Coupar Angus Road at Tullybaccart.
The road was initially blocked for around an hour after the crash eastbound heading towards Dundee.
A spokesman Tayside Fire and Rescue Service said a winch was used to remove the car from the ditch.
Tayside Police were also in attendance to divert motorists.
