A forklift driver has been taken to hospital following a crash with a HGV on the A90 in Angus.

The man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after the crash on the A90 southbound near the junction for Battledykes Farm, Forfar.

Details of the man’s injuries have not been confirmed.

The accident happened shortly after 12pm on Monday.

It is understood no one else was injured in the accident.

Tayside Police were in attendance and diverted traffic around the accident.
