More than 200 serving and ex-serving military personnel are expected to take part in a procession on Saturday.

The Arbroath Spitfire Group, also known as the Red Lichties, will hold the event through Arbroath's town centre.

The event will culminate in a Spitfire aircraft performing a flypast over Victoria Park.

The procession will begin at Hill Road, near Victoria Park at 1pm and is expected to continue for around 40 minutes.

The circular route includes Victoria Park/Hill Road, Hill Street, High Street, Kirk Square, with a return route of Hill Place then Hill Road, before finishing at Victoria Park.

Tayside Police have warned motorists that they may experience traffic delays in the town and to consider making alternative arrangements.
