More than £4000 worth of cigarettes were stolen after a break-in at Broughty Ferry, Dundee.
The Co-operative Food store in Broughty Ferry’s Campfield Square was targeted at about 2am on Monday.
Tayside Police have appealed to the public for information and are keen to trace two well-built men who were seen acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident.
One of the men was wearing a blue boiler suit and the other man was wearing a khaki/green jacket with an orange t-shirt underneath, and dark jeans or trousers.
Both men were also wearing white gloves and dark headwear. The men were last seen walking towards Strathmore Street.
Anyone who saw these men or anyone who was in the area at the time and has information that may assist officers with their inquiries is asked to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222, or speak to any officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
