Icelandair has announced that they will resume flights to Glasgow in the autumn.
The airline had suspended its flights to the city earlier this year as a result of the worsening economic conditions in Iceland.
The airline, which has served Scotland for over 60 years, will resume service with twice-weekly flights to Iceland's capital.
The flights will resume on August 27, with departures every Thursday and Sunday until November 8.
Icelandair will also offer connections from Glasgow to its destinations in Canada and the USA via its Reykjavik hub.
Amanda McMillan, managing director of Glasgow Airport, said in a statement: "This is excellent news for anyone interested in visiting this historic and fascinating country.
"The strength of the pound against the Krona means that Iceland now offers real value as a city break destination. With its world class restaurants, lively nightlife and superb natural attractions, Iceland is one of the must see destinations of 2009."
