Scots fans of Doctor Who will want to set their Tardis on course for Glasgow this weekend, as the city showcases an exhibition dedicated to the cult TV series.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is displaying actual props and costumes from the show in an attempt to transport sci-fi fans into the world of the Time Lord.
The current star of the hit show, Scottish actor David Tennant, will also appear via virtual technology.
But much scarier are the life-sized Daleks and Cybermen wandering around the gallery.
Liz Cameron from Culture and Sport Glasgow told STV News: "When I was in with the children, I was telling them not to be afraid and the next thing my coat was lifted up by the hand... or the paw... or the metal 'thing' of a Cyberman. So I've really got my colossal introduction to Doctor Who this morning - it's great."
Exhibition curator Martin Wilkie hopes the event will show fans just how much hard work goes into creating their favourite TV show.
He said: "We've been here in Kelvingrove for five weeks now creating this and hopefully what it helps reflect is the enormous effort that actually goes into the programme itself."
Kelvingrove is the only Scottish venue for the exhibition, which runs until January 2010 - when it will 'exterminate'.
