A body has been found in the Hamilton countryside
A body has been found in the search for a missing South Lanarkshire teenager.
Ryan Stewart, 18, has not been seen since 11.30pm on Monday, when he was at open ground near a quarry off Carscallon Road in Hamilton.
It is understood a body was found on Friday near farmland in Hamilton.
Members of the public reported a helicopter in the area around 3pm.
The body has not been formally identified.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
