Investigations are under way after a man was assaulted in Glasgow's Shettleston Road on Sunday afternoon.

At around 4.20pm, the 36-year-old victim was attacked by three men outside the Portland Arms pub. His attackers then ran away from the scene.

The injured man was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary where he was treated for head injuries before being released.

Detectives are keen for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
