Strathclyde Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in Clydebank on Monday evening.
Detectives say that around 10.30pm, two masked men entered Botterills in Riddell Street and then threatened two females with what is believed to be a firearm.
The staff members, who were aged 22 and 30, were tied up and the suspects then fled with four figure sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes. It's thought the men made off in a purple coloured Vauxhall Corsa car.
The first suspect is described as white, around five feet four inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing a dark jacket, grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe, black Nike trainers with the silver 'tick' logo, grey woollen gloves and a scarf.
The second suspect is also white and around five feet two inches tall. He was wearing a grey jacket, denim jeans, brown trainers and a scarf.
Detective Inspector Ross McCallum of Clydebank Police said: "This was a particularly frightening experience for the victims.
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Riddell Street around the time of the robbery, or anyone who may have seen two men hanging around or acting in a suspicious manner, to get in touch with police as a matter of urgency. They may have unwittingly seen something which could help trace the men responsible."
Witnesses are asked to contact detectives at Clydebank Police on 0141 532 3499 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
