A police investigation is under way in Ayrshire after a 12-year-old girl was indecently assaulted in Saltcoats.
The youngster was near a demolition site in the town's Corrie Crescent at around 8pm on Friday November 13 when she was attacked by a young male.
She did not require hospital treatment, but was left traumatised by the attack.
Detective Sergeant Stevie McLintock from Strathclyde Police said: "I would appeal to local people, who may have been near to Corrie Crescent around the time of the incident, to come forward if they witnessed the attack or can help identify the male responsible."
