Rangers have found themselves at the centre of a row over football violence, following angry scenes in Romania as the club took on Unirea Urziceni at the Steaua Stadium in Bucharest.
Police and stewards clashed with Rangers supporters during the game and before kick-off, with batons and what seemed to be pepper spray being used on Scottish fans.
Rangers chief executive Martin Bain has said that poor organisation and over-zealous policing led to the incidents, but also condemned the behaviour of some of the fans.
