135 workers at a Scottish firm that supplies the car industry face uncertainty after the company went into administration.
John McGavigan Ltd, based in Bishopbriggs near Glasgow, makes panels for dashboards, temperature gauges and speedometers.
Part of a US-based group, it has a turnover of £9 million, but has been hit by falling demand in the car industry and attempts to restructure or refinance the business were unsuccessful.
Eleven members of staff have been made redundant immediately.
The firm employs a total of 135 people, and administrators KPMG said they hoped to sell it as a going concern.
Joint administrator Blair Nimmo said: "We hope to continue working with the company's suppliers, customers and its experienced workforce while a sale of the business is pursued."
