The jury in the body in the burn murder trial has been told it can consider a reduced charge of culpable homicide.

Lisa Brown and her boyfriend John Wilson deny murdering Lisa's mother Anne Brown and dumping her body in an Ayrshire burn. The nine men and six women on the jury have now retired to begin their deliberations.

The judge, Lord Matthews, addressed the jury this morning telling them that as well as a murder verdict they were entitled to consider the reduced charge of culpable homicide against the two accused.
