The family of Mary McLaren, whose body was found in Dundee, have held a service at the spot where she was discovered on what would have been her 35th birthday.
The remembrance service at the Ladywell Roundabout took place on Saturday morning.
Mary vanished after a night out in the city almost one month ago, and her family laid flowers at the roundabout where her body was discovered.
Reverend Fay Lamont, of St Ninian's Episcopal Church in Dundee, said: "The family wanted to commemorate Mary's birthday and remember her on the spot where she died. The family are coping very well and are very strong, but it's a very long, drawn-out process.
"It was a very symbolic occasion. Although the family were very sad, they will hold up and remember this time as part of the process of grieving."
A forensic examination at the scene was concluded earlier this week.
Patrick Rae, 40, has been charged with murder in connection with Mary's death. He is also accused of attempting to defeat the ends of justice and is due back in court this week.
