T in the Park: Event sells out.
Tickets for this summer's T in the Park festival have sold out, the day that they went on sale.
It took less than 90 minutes for tickets for the three day event in Balado in Kinross to sell out, with only day tickets and travel packages remaining after an hour.
Details of this year's line up were unveiled earlier this week, with Muse, Kasabian and Eminem confirmed as headline acts. Jay-Z and the Black Eyed Peas are also playing, along with Florence and the Machine, Welsh rockers Stereophonics, dance acts Prodigy and Dizzee Rascal and retro-styled synth pop singer La Roux.
A number of major Scottish acts are also on the bill, including Paolo Nutini, the Proclaimers, Calvin Harris, the View and Biffy Clyro.

Geoff Ellis, festival organiser, said: "We know that we have an exceptionally strong line-up for 2010 but you can’t be complacent, it’s still momentous for us to sell out now as it was the first time we did and we’re really delighted.
"It’s great to know 85,000 music lovers think we’ve made the right choices and can’t wait for July 9th, and we can’t wait to put the best T in the Park yet on for them."

George Kyle, head of sponsorship at founding partners Tennent’s Lager added: "Everybody at Tennent’s is delighted at the news that T in the Park 2010 has sold out and we are really looking forward to welcoming the Balado faithful back in July."
Organisers are warning those wanting tickets not to buy them from unofficial ticket outlets, as there is a good chance that the tickets will be fake or will not actually exist.
