A Fife police operation that saw members of the public tip them off about crime in the area by filling out leaflets is being hailed a success.
Operation Laser was launched earlier this month and has already led to 17 arrests.
Heroin and cannabis have been recovered in raids, and 14 litres of alcohol has been seized by officers on foot patrols.
Police have been in contact with everyone who has given them information to thank them for their help.
Assistant Chief Constable Andrew Barker of Fife Constabulary said: "The concerns that have been raised are anything from vandalism to low-level drug dealing to anti-social behaviour generally.
“What we're doing is putting extra officers out at the weekends, we're taking officers from non-operational roles and from throughout the Force to target areas of concern to the public and down to the point we're speaking to the public about it.
“We're trying to speak to people who have reported repeated concerns to us and let them know that we're there to deal with their concerns and we'll take action in respect of the matters they raise with us."
