A team of young football players have started kicking around a new idea – “human foosball”.

The activity, which recreates table-top football games, sees players tethered to beams spaced along the pitch.

Clachnacuddin FC youth team has been enjoying the new craze at Fairburn Activity Centre in Ross-shire.

New football craze hits Ross-shire

Martin Sutherland from Clachnacuddin FC explained the popularity of the game, telling STV News: “It’s good for the squad, to bond them together.

“It’s a bit of confidence and a bit of fun for them.”
