Police in Aberdeen are appealing for information following a spate of graffiti tagging in the Bridge of Don area.

The incidents happened at a variety of locations, targeting both public and private property.

The vandalism occurred sometime between March 13 and 16.

A series of tags appeared on walls, doors, company signs and houses.

It is thought there are around 20 tags painted in Bridge of Don.

Investigating officer Euan Duthie from the Neighbourhood Proactive Unit said: "This is a highly unusual and unpleasant phenomenon to have appeared in the Bridge of Don.

“While the total cost of the clean-up can only be estimated, it will surely be in the region of thousands of Pounds as graffiti of this type can often be difficult and time-consuming to remove."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Grampian Police.
