Four charged over vandalism spree

Four teenagers have been charged in connection with a vandalism spree in Aberdeen.

Damage estimated to have cost a four-figure sum was caused in some 70 attacks in the Bucksburn and Kingswells areas.

Grampian Police confirmed that the four males, aged between 12 and 18, had been charged.

All of the incidents happened between August 19 and 23.

Bucksburn local policing team inspector, Raymond Munro, said: "The investigation was undertaken both by officers from the local policing team and our colleagues in the force's vandalism proactive unit.

"Four males, aged 18, 16, 14 and 12, have now been charged in connection with the incidents."
