Police are hunting one or two men who attacked a teenager assaulted outside an Aberdeen nightclub.
The 19-year-old suffered facial injuries following the attack within the smoking area of Exodus nightclub in the Schoolhill area.
The man had to be treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the incident which happened on Sunday between 1am and 1.30am.
Police believe one or two men were involved in the assault and were suspected to have been part of a larger group of four men.
The men involved are described as being white, aged 18 to 20 years. Three of those involved were wearing black jackets and one was wearing a red jacket.
Constable Colin Beaton of Grampian Police said: ''At this time there was a queue outside the nightclub and those in the queue may have witnessed the assault take place.
"I would ask members of the public who may have been at Exodus nightclub and witnessed this incident to come forward with information and assist the police in tracing those responsible for this crime.''
