A man is being treated for “potentially life-threatening” injuries following a crash in Moray.

The Fochabers man, who is in his 50s, was taken to hospital when the Mini he was driving left the road and overturned.

The accident happened on the A98 Cullen to Fochabers road near Arradoul, Buckie on Monday at around 4.10pm.

No other vehicle was involved in the incident.

The man was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin before being transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Inspector Scott Mann of Grampian Police said: “The male involved is currently being treated in hospital for injuries that are potentially life threatening.

“His family have been advised. I appeal to anyone who witnessed this collision, or its immediate aftermath, who has not yet spoken to Police, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
