Liquidators appointed to shut down an Aberdeen workshop for blind and disabled workers have reported interest from parties looking to salvage parts of the business.
Tennon Recovery were appointed as liquidators for Glencraft last Friday when the furniture firm shut its doors with the loss of 51 jobs.
The firm said various people have come forward but added they did not want to get anyone’s hopes up.
There were emotional scenes at the company when staff were informed of their fate.
The firm said it was unable to continue without continued subsidies from Aberdeen City Council.
The local authority argued that it did all it could for the troubled company.
