An Aberdeen-based charity are calling on the public to support their annual toy appeal for local, underprivileged children.
Instant Neighbour's Giving Tree appeal distributes new toys to young people across the north-east who otherwise may not receive a gift at Christmas.
Members of the public are being asked to take a gift tag from one of the Christmas trees displayed across Aberdeen - buy a new gift, wrap it and return it to the tree.
Its hope the appeal, which is now in its 19th year, will secure around 6,500 new gifts.
Instant Neighbour Chief Executive Sophy Green said: “The Giving Tree is vital for thousands of young people across the North East, providing them with a Happy Christmas. Over the years we have been overwhelmed at the generosity of those living in the area without whose support we simply could not delight so many.”
The charity donates gifts to children across the north-east, from Elgin to Laurencekirk
People have until December 7 to make a donation.
