Body Found: Samuel 'Sammy' MacDonald
The body of a man missing from his Caithness home for nearly a week has been recovered.
Samuel ‘Sammy’ MacDonald was last seen in a shop in Lybster’s Main Street on Tuesday afternoon.
On Saturday police were called to a remote location around three and a half miles from Lybster where the remains of Mr MacDonald were found.
The body was transported by Wick Lifeboat to Wick where a formal identification was made.
Mr MacDonald's relatives have been informed.
Northern Constabulary have thanked the public for their assistance in the operation.
