Recovery operation: specialist crane used to lift locomotive.
A freight train which derailed in heavy snow in the Highlands has been recovered, six weeks after it crashed.
A specialist crane was used to remove the locomotive from a wooded area near Carrbridge station overnight to minimise disruption to rail services.
The train had come to rest down an embankment, after narrowly missing some houses.
An investigation was launched into whether there may have been a problem with the engine's braking system.
