A man's died after falling into water at a Highland beauty spot near Loch Ness
Emergency services were called to the 100-foot high Divach Falls near Drumnadrochit at around quarter past one on Tuesday afternoon.
The casualty, in his 60s, was rescued from the water and treated by emergency services but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating why the man was at the waterfall, and what caused him to fall in.
The beauty spot is popular with walkers and Loch Ness monster spotters, on account of its proximity to the famous loch.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
