Rent-free cottage - with cow feeding chores

Highland house hunters are being offered a four-bedroom entirely rent-free.

The property in Inverness-shire comes gratis, in exchange for feeding 80 hungry cattle everyday.

Farmer Charlie Barclay is offering up the house at Teafrish Farm, Beauly for 12 hours work a week.

The chores include general maintenance, some tractor work and carting grain.

Local recruitment firm HALS say they have been inundated with interest in taking up the post.

The accommodation consists of a four bedroom farm cottage, with two receptions rooms, kitchen and family bathroom.

The cottage is situated on a local bus route, with local schools nearby.

All utility bills will have to be paid by the successful candidate.
