Trail date: Justin Synclair will appear for trial in July
A teenager in Edinburgh has denied racially abusing another man on a social networking site.
Justin Synclair was charged with two counts of racial harrassment after allegedly posting anti-Jewish statements directed at his victim, Issac Ansell-Forsyth, on Facebook.
The charges raised against the 17-year-old allege that his "racially aggravated course of conduct" amounted to the harassment of his victim.
He is said to have posted the comments at an internet cafe in Edinburgh's Leven Street on October 1 and 4 last year.
The teenager is also alleged to have been on bail at the time.
Synclair denied all charges during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
He was released on bail and will return to court for trial in July.
