Satanists may be linked to slashing of foal

A four-day-old foal has been slashed across the neck at a farm in Fife.

Police and the Scottish SPCA said the black and white mare is lucky to be alive after the incident near Cupar. Authorities believe last week's attack was deliberate.

Fife Constabulary have launched an inquiry and are considering whether the attack may have been carried out by individuals dabbling in the occult ahead of the summer solstice on June 21 - a key date in the occult calendar.

A police spokesman said: "We certainly will not be discounting the line of enquiry that it is related to satanists.

"It is one isolated incident at the moment and we can't immediately tie it to anything specific."

Last June four black bay mares on farms around Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, were found with their hindquarters and genitals slashed. One had to be destroyed by its owners.

Police are appealing for information from the public following this recent incident, which is reported to have taken place at a farm west of Cupar, between 5pm and 8pm on May 25.

Why would anyone assume that some Satanic group did this? It sounds like it was some sick individual or maybe even an accident. And how is there any possible link to the summer solstice which happens June 21??? Whoever wrote this article clearing has no understanding of Satanism - read a book!

On a side note, when children go missing or are raped and murdered in the US, 99% of the time it's Christians who are convicted of the crimes, so which group is worse?

And Summer Soltice is not a Satanist date, but a wiccan one. I as a wiccan celebrate the summer soltice which is not a time of death, but one of life. I have never harmed an animal or such in any rite we celebrate. I am from a large coven probably one of the largest in the United States, and wiccans do not harm life but we celebrate the giving of life and such. This is probably the horse ran into a barbwire fence on the property, it happens a lot here which is why a lot of farmers here no longer use them. Trust me it is probably not an occult that is doing this, before making statements in your publications at least do some research on what you are talking about. Here is some websites to look at to help you make more informed statements.

Note that none of these site mention anything about the slaughter of animals or mutilations of them either in any rite of wiccan religion, I have several friends who are satanists, and after talking with them, they have assured me that true satanists do not harm animals, they like wiccans or other pagans do hot harm life but celebrate it as it is a great thing to behold and honor.

Correction on my previous post, Summer Soltice is celebrated by almost all religions, but under different names. Kind of like Xmas and other December holidays, being the same as winter soltice.
