Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the A9, about 10 miles south of Aviemore in the Highlands, just before 2pm on Monday.
Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service said one person had to be cut free from the car.
They were then airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with serious leg injuries.
A 26-year-old man was taken by road ambulance to the same hospital with serious rib injuries.
Northern Constabulary said the road was closed for five hours while the vehicles were recovered and investigators examined the scene.
