A crash between a car and motorbike caused rush hour chaos on the A90.
The vehicles collided on the northbound carriageway south of Aberdeen at 7.45am on Tuesday.
The accident happened on the Duffshill to Muchalls stretch, around 800m from the Stonehaven junction.
The motorcyclist, in his 20s, suffered non-life threatening pelvic injuries and was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The road was blocked for 45 minutes while emergency services worked to clear the scene.
The disruption caused major tailbacks of traffic heading into Aberdeen during rush hour for the first day back to work after the bank holiday weekend.
