Police make arrest over fatal stabbing of 63-year-old Dundee man

A man has been arrested over the fatal stabbing of a man in his Dundee home.

John Kennedy was found seriously injured at his home in Mossgiel Crescent on April 28.

A neighbour raised the alarm after hearing a disturbance at the address at around 10.15pm.

The 63-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 43-year-old man was detained in custody in relation to Mr Kennedy's death on Sunday.

A Tayside Police spokesman confirmed on Monday that the man has now been arrested over the incident.

He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
