A heavily pregnant woman had to be rescued after getting stranded on an island.
The RNLI were called out at around 4.20pm on Sunday after the woman became trapped by the tide on Cramond Island in the Forth.
A lifeboat crew was launched from South Queensferry and went out to the island to rescue her.
It is understood the woman is eight months pregnant.
She was taken to Cramond and was taken to hospital by family to be checked over.
The path across to Cramond Island, near Edinburgh, is cut off by the high tide.
