One person has died in an Aberdeenshire house fire, emergency services said.

Fire crews were called to the property on Blackcraig Road, Cruden Bay, shortly before 11am on Sunday.

Grampian Fire and Rescue said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

A joint police and fire investigation is under way.
