Residents have been rescued from a blazing block of flats in Inverclyde.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus removed two people from the second floor of a building on Berwick Road, Greenock, during a "well-developed" fire.
A complete search of the building was carried out and the roof collapsed a short time later.
A total of three people were given precautionary check-ups and sent to hospital for further care.
The fire started at around 6am on Saturday.
