A fire which saw 35 cars set alight in West Lothian was started deliberately.
Campbell’s Auto Salvage in Collinshiel Road, Armadale was broken into sometime between 6pm and 7pm on Tuesday.
Around 35 cars were set on fire and 100 cars had their windows were smashed at the scrapyard.
It took crews approximately four hours to put out the flames. A number of roads were closed and local residents were asked to close their doors and windows because of the thick smoke.

A spokesman for the force said: "We are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Collinshiel Road in Armadale between 6pm and 7pm yesterday, who saw anything suspicious, to contact police.
"Similarly, anyone else who has any other information that can assist our inquiries should also get in touch."
