Police have named the two motorcyclists who died in an accident over the weekend in the Highlands.
Mark Greenup, 39, and Rosemary Slack, 35, both from the Keith area of Banffshire, were involved in a collision with a car on the A939 between Grantown on Spey and Tomintoul just after 1pm on Sunday.
The pair died at the scene, about one mile west of the Nethy Bridge junction, Northern Constabulary said.
Two people in the car were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. They were not seriously injured.
The motorcycle was travelling towards Grantown, while the car was travelling towards Tomintoul when the accident happened.
The road was closed while police carried out investigations and diversions were put in place.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
