A sea and air search was under way for a missing windsurfer off the east of Scotland.
Forth Coastguard launched the hunt off Thorntonloch in East Lothian at around 6pm on Tuesday after the alarm was raised by a friend.
A helicopter and several lifeboat teams were involved in the search, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said.
An RNLI spokesman said two lifeboats from Dunbar and one from St Abbs were helping with the search.
