Organisers of the wheelchair event at Run Balmoral 09 are aiming for record entries across all races.
The event attracts some of the country's top athletes and entries are already up on this time last year.
Funding from construction company Pihl UK Ltd has ensured the continued success of the dedicated elite ten kilometre wheelchair race.
The firm's sponsorship has been matched by the national Sportsmatch scheme, enabling it to attract athletes from all over the country.
Last year's race was won by Jason Gill from England who is also a previous winner of the British Wheelchair Athletics Association Grand Prix and British Wheelchair Racing Association Grand Prix.
Pihl UK Ltd also hopes to welcome some of the Scottish Disability Sport junior wheelchair athletes to the race.
Kim Lam, corporate communications coordinator for Pihl, said in a statement: "We are delighted to be sponsoring this major event.
"It is part of Pihl UK Ltd's philosophy to help create and enhance the quality and social lives of people, not just through the buildings we construct and services we provide, but also through events like these.
"We are proud to be sponsoring Run Balmoral, which brings the local community together and encourages people from all walks to stay healthy, do something good for the community and enjoy life."
Run Balmoral 09 takes place at the Balmoral Estate, Royal Deeside on April 25.
The event is suitable for all ages and running abilities, and includes the ten kilometre and five kilometre races as well as two events for children.
