An investigation has been launched into the sudden death of an 11-year-old boy in Dundee.
Paramedics were called to a house in the city's Longtown Place shortly before 8am on Thursday and found the boy in cardiac arrest.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tayside Police said inquiries - including a full forensic examination - were taking place into the cause of his death.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted.
