The latest figures of crime in the Strathclyde area in a year reveal a total of 81 Murders, 303 Attempted Murders, 368 rapists and attempted rapists, 3779 serious assaults, 5810 House breakings, 4109 Drugs Suppliers, and 1102 Dangerous Drivers.
For all the talk of conditions in the jail those who influence the justice system can never forget the rights of Scotland's victims.
