A man has been taken to hospital after a liquid was thrown in his face in a street attack.
Officers were called to the incident near a Lloyds TSB bank on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow, at around 11am on Wednesday.
Strathclyde Police said the type of liquid used has not yet been established.
The man was taken to the Western Infirmary in Glasgow, while details of his condition are not yet known.
Police said that inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The branch of the bank where the attack took place is in the Partick end of Dumbarton Road, near to Partick train station.
