Last week stv news told you about the Edinburgh Fringe staging performances in West Lothian. Now, it has gone east. This afternoon marked the start of the Fringe By The Sea music festival, in North Berwick. It all began at Waverley Station.
There was a colourful scene as Orkestra del Sol boarded the 1.37 to North Berwick. They are just one of the many acts performing as part of Fringe by the Sea. The brochure calls them 'riotous, exuberant and joyously big'.
Olga from the band said: "We're about playing loud brass music for people in the streets and from large stages as well." She added: "It's our East Lothian debut, we're quite excited about it!"
Jane Thompson from Fringe by the Sea said: "People can literally jump on the train, come down to North Berwick, have fish and chips, Luca's ice cream, watch some great music or comedy and head back to their homes having had a lovely day out."
Fringe on the sea runs in North Berwick until Saturday.
