A man has been injured in a suspected ‘hit and run’ incident on the Isle of Lewis.
The 59-year-old was knocked down by the vehicle on the A858, Carloway to Callinish Road, at Kirivick, on the island.
The incident took place at around 7.00pm on Friday.
It is understood the victim was conveyed to the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway.
Stornoway Police is appealing for anyone who was travelling in the vicinity between 6.45pm and 7.15pm to come forward.
