The car of a missing 70-year-old man has been found at an Aberdeenshire graveyard.
William Riddoch was last seen by a family member at his Dufftown home on Tuesday.
His red Fiat Punto car was found at the graveyard in Portsoy shortly after he was reported missing to police on Thursday.
Police say they are "increasingly concerned" for Mr Riddoch's safety and are appealing for him to get in touch, or phone his family, to let them know he is safe and well.
Mr Riddoch is 5ft 11in and of medium built. He usually wears jeans or green cords with a shirt and cardigan and it is thought he might have a dark-coloured jacket with him.
Anyone with information about where he is can call Grampian Police on 0845 6005700 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
