An elderly man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in the centre of Edinburgh.
The accident happened just before midday on the corner of George Street and St Andrew Square.
The pedestrian was about to cross the road when he was hit by the single decker bus.
He suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to be checked over.
Passengers on the Edinburgh Coach Lines service 13 were interviewed by officers. As a result, the 11.26 service from Lochend to Blackhall was cancelled.
