A 65-year-old man has appeared in court accused of stalking a woman at her work.
Ian McLennan is charged with causing his alleged victim fear and alarm by loitering at her place of work in Inverness city centre while wearing a hi-vis jacket and hard hat.
He is also alleged to have repeatedly driven past her place of work on Academy Street, repeatedly staring at her, as well as approaching her and phoning her when she asked him not to.
MacLennan, of Torr Gardens, Inverness, causing the woman fear and alarm by his conduct between February 14 and 21.
He appeared from custody at Inverness Sheriff Court on Wednesday and trial was fixed for June. He was released on bail.
