A 22-year-old man has appeared in court accused of holding up at a service station while armed with a Taser.
Jamie Miller, from Kinross, appeared in private alleging he attempted to rob the Moto Service Station at Turfhills, Kinross, on February 8.
He is alleged to have assaulted Alexander Smith by presenting the electroshock weapon and a knife at him.
He is than accused of repeatedly demanding Mr Smith open the cash till.
Miller, who made no motion for bail, was full committed for trial.
He was remanded in custody and will face court proceedings at a later date.
