Police have mounted a six-hour siege of a house in a Glasgow suburb.
Officers were called to a disturbance at a house in Moorhill Crescent, Newton Mearns, at around 5pm on Saturday.
A spokesperson for Strathclyde Police said people inside refused the officers entry and began barricading themselves within the property.
She added: “Force negotiators and public order-trained officers attended. A small fire was lit within the property and then extinguished by Strathclyde Fire and Rescue.”
Two men were taken from the house suffering from minor injuries but two other men stayed inside and continued to talk to police negotiators.
One of them came out at 9.30pm, followed by the last man at 11pm.
The police spokesperson added: “These two men were detained and inquiries are ongoing.”
The property showed signs of fire and window damage and one neighbour said there might have been a party at the property before the disturbance occurred.
The elderly lady, who did not wish to be named, said: “We didn’t have a clue what was going on. Police appeared to be everywhere and then the fire brigade turned up. I think there was a party going on when trouble broke out.”
