A man is in hospital with serious head injuries after falling from a boat early on Friday morning.
Stornoway Coastguard were called to the incident in Ullapool harbour in the Highlands around 2am.
The man fell between the harbour and a boat and hit his head, the rescue service said.
He was airlifted by a Stornoway helicopter to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where his condition is described as serious.
Details of the injured man have not been released.
